A Flemish historical tapestry from the late 16th century, depicting the union of the king of England, Henry V, and Catherine, the daughter of the French king, Charles VI, after Henry’s series of military victories throughout Europe, and his success in unifying the two nations.  Henry and Catherine are depicted at center, with each side’s party looking on as the vows are exchanged and dowry given.  Enclosed within a pair of narrow monochromatic borders.  Wool with silk inlay.

Hanging: The tapestry comes ready for hanging, with linen backing and a strip of hook and loop tape at the top end, which can be connected to the opposite side of the supplied hook and loop tape, which could be tacked to your wall. For those who prefer the use of a tapestry rod, we can add the appropriate size loops to accommodate your needs.
