Vintage Floral Oriental Carpet, with Medallion & Open Field

Vintage Persian Kerman oriental carpet, size 15'4 H x 11'6 W, circa 1950. This semi-antique hand-knotted Persian rug features a striking open ivory central field, with a softly hued floral array in the corners and outer border. A small medallion punctuates the otherwise solid ivory central plane. The piece is quite and subdued, and offers the refinement and soft touch of a traditional Kerman rug, but without any fuss or excess. In very good condition, with some areas of wear and restoration. 100% wool pile. A fine choice for a living room, dining room, or bedroom, and a surefire way to add warmth and sophistication to your interior decor.
