Persian Hamadan Camel Hair Oriental Rug, in Small Size, with Soft Earth Tones

An antique Persian Hamadan camel hair oriental rug, circa 1910, size 5'2" x 3'9". This delightful small carpet features a central cartouche with a "gul" medallion on a bed of small diamond elements inside it, and is complemented by end designs of stylized paisley motifs. The central designs are enclosed within multiple layers of guard borders, culminating in the outer camel hair strip. Wool pile with short to medium pile thickness. Excellent condition. An excellent addition to your interior decor, and suitable either as a wall hanging or a floor covering!
