An antique 18th century French Felletin verdure landscape tapestry, size 8'10 H x 9'7 W. This handwoven antique wall hanging features two exotic birds at centre in the midst of greenery, trees, flowers, and acanthus plants. The central scene is enclosed within a scrolling foliate outer border. handwoven; composed of wool with silk inlay. In fair to good condition, with areas of wear and distress. Being sold as is. A great choice for bringing the old world beauty of an antique tapestry into your home, but at a relatively economical price point.

Hanging: The tapestry comes ready for hanging, with linen backing and a strip of hook and loop tape at the top end, which can be connected to the opposite side of the supplied hook and loop tape, which could be tacked to your wall.
