An antique Persian Ziegler Sultanabad oriental carpet, circa 1880, size 24'0 H x 17'5 W. This Classic hand-knotted wool carpet features a central medallion on a red primary field, with reciprocal corner spandrels. Enclosed within a covered light blue field. Excellent condition, with short wool pile. Ziegler is the finest type of Sultanabad carpet, woven in the famed workshop of Ziegler & Co. before the turn of the 20th century. An amazing addition to your home decor and a statement piece of a lifetime!
