A magnificent Persian Serapi Bakshaish oriental carpet, circa 1900, size 19'5" x 12'0". This unique carpet has a large, spacious central medallion, with stylized blue corners, and a soft red border. The rug is decorated sparsely and simply, with a handful of abstracted bird and flower elements in the corners. Wool pile. Excellent condition.
